In 1984 Tony left a City practice and was made a partner in Heald Nickinson 1985. He is now the senior partner. He practices in corporate law, commercial and partnership law but has particular expertise in commercial property and commercial contracts.
Gendy has been with the firm since 1983 having been made a partner in 1986 and combines the role of Managing Partner with providing advice on inheritance, trusts, Wills and Probate, and the Administration of Estates. Gendy is also a specialist conveyancer.
Dermot joined the firm in 1998 from a City practice and was made a partner in 2002. His experience in commercial and civil litigation covers building/construction disputes, professional negligence, partnership disputes, contractual claims and co-ownership disputes. He runs the firm's Dispute Resolution practice, and is involved in high value claims in both the High Court and County Court.
Michael was admitted as a solicitor in 1976 and was a partner in a leading London firm for twenty years before coming to the firm. Michael joined Heald Nickinson as a partner in 2005. Michael specialises in commercial property work, particularly property development where he has a wide experience of both commercial and residential development. Michael has acted for hoteliers and retailers and has a considerable knowledge of commercial leases and related Landlord and Tenant matters.
Educated at Kings College London and trained in law at a Grays Inn practice Sarah qualified in 1987. With a grounding in matrimonial law she then took up a career in business and commerce. She then returned to private practice with Heald Nickinson in 2006 and specialises as an experienced divorce lawyer.
Yasmin is an experienced solicitor specialising exclusively in family law cases. She can
advise on all aspects of the law relating to relationships from pre nuptial agreements to
separation, divorce, cohabitation, civil partnerships, domestic abuse, money and children.
As a member of the Law Society's Children Panel Yasmin is an accredited child law specialist with particular experience in representing children, parents and family members who are involved in problems concerning Social Services and care proceedings. Yasmin is highly regarded by fellow professionals and clients alike.
Michael qualified as a solicitor in 1979 and practised in the West End and the City before joining the firm as a Consultant in 1990. He handles all aspects of commercial property transactions. His particular interest is the intricacy of Landlord and Tenant law. Over the years he has developed a specialism in the sale and purchase of leisure sites and hotels.
Stewart joined Heald Nickinson in 2012 after a successful period as a sole practitioner running the long established local Camberley property law firm of Webb & Co. His experience is in property related matters and he specialises primarily in residential and commercial conveyancing.
Marilyn has nearly 30 years' experience in family law, having joined Heald Nickinson in April 1983 as a secretary and, via the Legal Executive route, qualified as a Solicitor 9 years later. For the last 30 years, Marilyn has concentrated solely on Family Law, leaving Heald Nickinson in 1992 to set up and head up a very successful Family Law Department at Clifton Ingram in Wokingham. Marilyn is a member of Resolution and holds the Resolution accreditation as a specialist in family law. She was a member of the Berks, Bucks & Oxford Law Society Committee for more than 12 years and was chair of the Thames Valley Family Lawyers Society and also the Reading & Berkshire Family Lawyers Society. She advises on all areas of family law and has worked for some high net worth clients, including "household names". Marilyn "came home", and re-joined Heald Nickinson's Family Law team as a Consultant in May 2013.
Amy joined Heald Nickinson as a paralegal in the residential conveyancing department in June 2014 and qualified as a solicitor in May 2017. After a year working in the family department Amy returned to conveyancing where she is an assistant solicitor working closely with Luke Roberts. Whilst Amy predominantly acts for clients buying new build properties, Amy is able to assist with all aspects of residential conveyancing. Amy also has significant experience in the various government Help to Buy schemes. In her spare time Amy enjoys going to the cinema, theatre shows and concerts.
Catherine qualified as a solicitor in October 2017 and joined Heald Nickinson in March 2018. She specialises in providing advice on Inheritance, Court of Protection, Wills and Probate and the Administration of Estates.
Clare qualified as a solicitor in 1993 and joined HN in 2018 following a long career in the Court Service where she worked mainly in the Family Proceedings Courts advising Magistrates. She has experience in dealing with all aspects of Family Law Cases. Prior to qualifying as a solicitor Clare did a degree in Psychology at the university of Reading.
Julie is an employment law specialist with several years' experience in representing and
assisting both employers and employees with work related issues. She has represented
individual employees and businesses in both employment tribunal matters and non-contentious
matters including settlement agreements, contracts of employment, etc.
She has acted for employee clients at all levels of seniority and employers ranging from SMEs to PLCs.

Luke read Politics and Economic and Social History at Leicester University before commencing
his legal education at The College of Law. After gaining experience of property law in a
niche high street practice, he joined Heald Nickinson to train and qualified as a solicitor
Luke has experience of and can assist in a wide range of property matters particularly residential.
In his spare time, Luke tries to see as many new places as his full time job allows. Luke runs the occasional triathlon and enjoys spending his time socialising.
Marianne qualified as a solicitor in 2008 and has worked within the Hampshire area specialising in Family law, Civil litigation and employment ever since. Marianne joined the Family department at Heald Nickinson in October 2017 and acts in all areas of family law including divorce, financial orders, children matters, non-molestation and occupation orders. Marianne also has knowledge and experience of Civil Litigation matters such as Harassment Act, Trust of Land Applications, Neighbour Disputes, Landlord and Tenant issues; and Employment Law including Settlement Agreements. Marianne attends the CAB in Yateley and Fleet and is a member of Family Resolution. Outside of work Marianne plays and is the clubs treasurer for a local netball team. She also enjoys reading, eating out and spending time with her family. She is also a keen follower of football.
Matthew specialises in commercial and civil litigation for both businesses and individuals. This includes contractual claims, residential and commercial property disputes, inheritance disputes and professional negligence claims.
Matthew is experienced at advocating in the County Court and has a strong record for successfully settling claims through mediations and other forms of ADR.
Rob joined the firm in 2015 after a period working for a Local Authority and has a strong
background in family law. He has assisted in complex children matters including those
involving vulnerable clients. Rob has studied for his LPC qualifications part time at
weekends and will be completing his training period at Heald Nickinson.
Outside of work, Rob is an avid sports fan and supports Liverpool Football Club.
Roisin joined Heald Nickinson in January 2017 as an assistant in the residential conveyancing department. Roisin began her training contract in September 2017 and is currently undertaking a seat in the Litigation department, whilst also retaining some residential files. Roisin will move on to her Wills and Probate seat in September 2018 and will qualify as a Solicitor in March 2019. When not in the office, Roisin can probably be found in the gym or in a kitchen somewhere eating food!
Sarbjit is an experienced Children & Family Law Solicitor who joined Heald Nickinson in December 2015.. She is a member of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme, which recognises her level of expertise with regards to Children Law matters.
Sarbjit can advise on a variety of legal issues and will often represent parents, children and extended family members within care proceedings. She has extensive experience of assisting vulnerable individuals and she continues to manage cases which contain complex issues such as; physical, sexual and emotional abuse, non-accidental injuries, mental impairment, psychological trauma and drug and alcohol addiction.
In addition to this, Sarbjit also assists individuals involved in disputes concerning contact and residence arrangements.
